Building Daily Living Skills with Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps NDIS participants develop or regain skills needed for daily life. Our occupational therapists support people of all ages in building independence through practical strategies. This includes assistance with mobility, personal care, managing routines, and participating in community life.
Each plan is tailored to individual goals, capacity levels, and environments—at home, at work, or out in the community.
Building Everyday Independence
- Functional Capacity Assessments: Detailed reports used to inform NDIS planning and support needs
- Daily Living Support: Help with everyday activities like showering, cooking, or using public transport
- Assistive Technology Recommendations: Suggestions and applications for items like wheelchairs, bathroom aids, or sensory tools
- Home Modification Assessments: Professional evaluations to support safe and accessible living spaces (e.g. grab rails, ramps, adjusted layouts)
